RIOTGOD NOW:
Riotgod's new CD "Invisible Empire" has been released in Europe, will be officially released in UK in November and in the USA in January.

Some reviews are already in:
"This is just a great heavy rock band, very mature and with serious music. There is one thing important for Riotgod: it is all about the groove and about heavy rock. And goodness me, how well do they play groovy and heavy rock! http://www.lordsofmetal.nl

Riotgod is the first song you'll hear on the CD offered along withthe December issue of ROCKS magazine, a German publication dedicated to, yes, Classic Rock. Want this collector's item, or have a passion for German rock magazines? Got the Euros? Buy it here.

Fall 2011: Monster Magnet is currently on the road performing their "Dopes to Infinity" Tour which will last until mid-December. Prior to this, Riotgod was in the middle of rehearsing their new ( and older ) material, the whole damned experience to be offered, getting ready for a tour originally slated to last a brief 2 weeks in October. This tour, with Astral Doors and The Quill, post-poned owing to scheduling difficulties, has been re-scheduled for late February, but more tour news will be posted for wherever we are going to end up -- US, UK you'll know.

Look for us on Facebook.

Riotgod received reviews in both Decibel and Outburn Magazine in 2010.

RIOTGOD RELEASE MOST ADDED 08/12/10

RIOTGOD’s highly anticipated self-titled debut album was the number one most added record for this week on the CMJ Loud Rock Charts...Read more here.

...the groove on this album is killer. You’ll find yourself nodding along, grooving in your seat when you didn’t even realize you were paying attention.
- Jason Wellwood - Hellbound.ca

...buy the album yourself and revel in its greatness. Is that too much praise, too much ass kissing? Perhaps, but when a record comes out that isn’t full of boring clichés and uninspired writing, and manages to make an instant impression, leaving listeners only craving more, why not give it the accolades it deserves?
- Hardrockhaven.net

This is a great sounding band with tons of energy and great catchy songs. There are no lackluster tracks, and the album is consistent and memorable. For fans of melodic rock ‘n’ roll with a groove, this is a must-have.
- Kelley Simms - SMNnews.com

"RiotGod You have won me over."
- Absolute Zero Media 2010

"I’m not sure how much more I could gush over this album. It’s rare that an album like this comes along and seemingly ties up the loose ends between certain rock genres. An absolute masterpiece and quite possibly the best album of 2010!"
- WRUV 90.1 Reviews (bbarratt)

"The outlook of these rock and rollers is what has driven Riotgod to new places and their eloquent 1960s and 1970s hard rock style mixes them in alongside greats such as Steppenwolf, Blue Cheer and Deep Purple."
- JOHN PFEIFFER , Aquarian Weekly

" they've managed to create a magnificent meltpot of retro 70's hardrock and 90's grunge. One minute you're listening to basic Led Zeppelin vibes and the other it's Soundgarden 'ala 'Down On The Upside'."
- Urban "Wally" Wallstrom, Rock United

"All songs are catchy, full of power... there is definitely no filler on this album. But this is not a Stoner Rock record you have heard 100 times before, it is unique and after the songs you will put with a smile the repeat button. "
- Jochen, Daredevil Records

"these guys from New Jersey are second to none, making their own mark through the very distinctive singer or the pumping teamwork between the rhythm section and the guitarist. "
- Michael Bambas, Metalnews.de

"Red Bank's RiotGod launches into the stratosphere with a collection of high-grade rock and roll songs... and not a clunker in the bunch. Nice when that happens."
- JJ Koczan, East Coast Rocker

"This is not the same old 'cliche-of-the-day' modern American rock. Riotgod is onto something quite good, and dare I say, creative here with their roots-laden heavy melodic rock. They've got the vision and talent to challenge current trends. Very recommended!"
- Craig Hartranft, Dangerdog.com

"The music on CD is extraordinary with a lot of controlled energy. If they keep on that way their success is guaranteed. "
- Dragutin Matosevic, Tuzla, BiH., Barikada.com

" more than a derivative band here... not just some retro thing either, Riotgod have their own edge and they’re kicking it all in to the timeless rock beyond. Fresh band, armed with a finished album and all on the launch pad, waiting for you and ready to go "
- OrganArt.com

"Riotgod shouldn't be reduced to side project status. The Red Bank-based band, which includes Monster Magnet bassist Jim Baglino and drummer Bob Pantella, stands on its own."
- Ed Cochran, Asbury Park Press

"These guys worked hard onstage, were tight as a drum and had the best stage FX I've ever seen at the Pony."
- Mark Voger, Asbury Park Press
